Abstract submission guidelines
Please read this information carefully before proceeding to the online submission form.
General information
- 1 Please prepare your abstract in an extra e.g. Word-file before moving on to the online system. Copy the complete abstract into the intended text field. We recommend that you do not write your paper in the system!
- 2 The abstract outline must be as follows: Background - Objectives - Methods - Results - Conclusions. The number of characters is limited to 3,500 (including spaces).
- 3 Abstracts can only be submitted online via the online abstract submission form.
- 4 Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- 5 Abstracts can be accepted either as poster or oral presentations.
Registration in the abstract system
- 1 Please create your personal account by registering in the abstract system. You will then receive your personal password by e-mail. If you have not received an e-mail, please check your spam folder or send an e-mail to abstract@conventus.de after 60 minutes.
- 2 After receiving your password, please log in with your e-mail and password. You can now submit your abstract via “Submit”. Please follow the steps indicated.
- 3 After successfully submitting your abstract, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please also check your spam folder
- 4 You can now log-in at any time and submit further abstracts or modify existing abstracts until the deadline on 7 December 2026.
- 5 Please note that the conference chairs will evaluate the abstracts and therefore the preference chosen during submission between oral presentation or poster is not guaranteed.
Definitions
Submitting author: Person who submits the abstract.
Presenting author: Person who will physically present the abstract at the congress and who is marked as the presenter in the programme.
Corresponding author: Person who will be included in communications on the abstract.
